Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.

JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year

JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies

JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited

JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap

JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"

JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly

JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO

JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"

JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree

JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

this camp were targeted at the 12 & 13 years old youths

teaching & guiding them as they are moving into the teenage years
many changes will take place, we were there to tell them, "We'll be here for you"

it was indeed no easy task to "jaga" these group of youths, their energy level is so high... haha...
it seems like they'll never grow tired.
anyway, it was fun & jolly being with them, being around them.

everyone drawing their own portrait on the canvas...

all the creative drawing & "self" expression...

everybody is learning...
* biological & psychological changes in my body
* relationship & peer pressure
* self-image, self acceptance
* how to read the Bible, how to pray, who is the Holy Spirit



the youths making 爱心面包 for their parents who will be turning up later...


the night celebration begins... it's party time.. it's praise & worship time


parents and youths partnering up for a "games time"...
through this activity, parents learn to guide the youths by given them essential freedom
youths learn to trust their parents to walk on the "much obstructed" paths with them
it's reconciliation time... it's a fun time ;)


the pastors praying for the youths & welcoming them into the Big Family of God!



it was a short and wonderful camp!
I pray that for those who came, their lives will indeed be blessed!

FIRE.4.J MISSION EXPOSURE: 26.05.07

It was a great time of breakthrough and exposure many of us on this wonderful day! Saturday... at the heart of our city, Petaling Street!

Weather was good... tho' it rained for a short while in the afternoon... nonetheless, the army of God are not hindered... but they kept moving forward to let the LIGHT OF JESUS shine in the very heart of our city!!!

Tho' some feel fearful and nervous as this is their very first endeavor... however, they persisted!!! we persisted!!!

GOD IS GREAT!!! GOD IS WONDERFUL!!! It was a wonderful time & it was the beginning of harvest!!!

wat did God said during 27th Apr Overnight Prayer Meeting

The Holy Spirit came to give us POWER to overcome darkness and to be able to come out victorious in the warfare. He came to help us be witnesses for Jesus and bring gospel explosion to all the people around us.

We need MOSES in this generation... not just Joshua.... YES, we need the next generation but all the more, we need mentor for the next generation. ARe you willing to rise up to the occasion?

In this decade where we've the best of everything (strong cell group/team dynamics, vibrant praise & worship, information technology.....)... why is it so difficult to see the move of God in our midst???? What's wrong???

Are we willing to come out of our "comfort zone" and step into the world of challenge ahead?

26 May 2007 - FIRE.4.J. MISSION EXPOSURE

FIRE.4.J will be having a MISSION EXPOSURE to the heart of Kuala Lumpur => Petaling Street!!!! on 26th May 2007 (Saturday).

I believe most of our youths lack the training or teaching to do evangelism... and some, with ample training in this area, lack the opportunity to go out to EVANGELISE!
Now, there's an opportunity to put what they've learnt into practice. Let's go out to the heart of Kuala Lumpur & spread the gospel!!!! Ready to take the challenge? Why wait? Register now, let's join hands with brothers & sisters from various churches, let's GO, GO, GO & win our city for Jesus!!!!!!!!!

Training will be provided and we'll then do street evangelism.

Registration is required (closing date on 15th May) as we will need to prepare training materials for the participants. A minimum fee of RM3 per person is required.

相信目前各教会都很激励的推动祷告活动, 因为我们知道复兴要临到马来西亚了. 教会应当合一,同心祷告,进入属灵争战中把我们的土地夺回来. 我们要进入黑暗地盘, 把我们的青少年带到光明之地!

下星期五 (27/4), 11晚上 - 7早上, 我们将有 FIRE.4.J 经历神祷告会. 欢迎你们来参加!

我们需要为着我们的青少年守望祷告. 让我们的祷告摇动上帝的手!

如果你只能参与我们的祷告会至凌晨2.00, 没关系, 至少你也与我们同心祷告了3小时.
如果你不能通宵祷告, 没关系, 带你的 sleeping bag 来，累了就睡把。
我们不要求每个人都一定要从11pm 祷告到 7am。这是一个很自由的时间 ;)

如果你从没参加过通宵祷告会，来突破你的界限把！

wat happened on 30th March....

hey... for those who came for the overnight prayer meeting... u muz be feeling surprised that u r able to stay up, praying & worshipping till the next morning... indeed, we do not rely on our own strength but on His strength ;)

we started the prayer meeting at around 11.30pm and ended at 6.30am... of course there are 2 hours break in between...

wat did we receive from the Lord on that night?
CHURCH... be UNITED... enter into spiritual warfare!!!!
YES, battle is at hand... go ahead, claim back our land & our people for the Lord! What the devil has taken away, let's get it back from him. Not juz wat he has taken, but he has to pay back double, triple... much much more... haha

Go ahead, mighty army of God! Meet the enemy head on!

Be salt & light, Shine like stars in your marketplace - schools, college, university, workplace...

hey all... we're now planning & praying to have our own website where we can have more resources and avenues to reach out to more youths. but to get this done, we need manpower and people who can be committed to sacrifice their time & energy to get the website going.

let's get ready for battle, mighty army of God!

it's time that we stand guard to pray for our youths and to usher in revival to our lives and to the youths in our community.

come! let's pray & bring our tears before our Mighty God... pray for revival and radical change in the lives of our youths!

Christmas Celebration of Love Carnival at CMC Centre

We'll have a variety of programs and events from 3rd - 25th December 2006 at CMC Centre, Taman Connaught. During the weekends, we'll have special on-stage performances from 3pm - 7pm.

This Sunday, 3rd December will be our OPENING CEREMONY... do come and join us @ 3pm :) There will be organ donation and blood donation drive... come.... let's share & give to those in needs.

On 16th December, it will be a day focused on YOUTH!!!! come & join us for a time of fun-filled activities and excitement! There will be Food & Fun Fair on that day too to raise funds for various welfare organisations in Cheras.

On 25th December, it'll be a mega concert with singers like Francissa Peter and Rao Yan Ting.

929. our first EXPERIENCE GOD prayer meeting...

were u here with us????

initially i was so worried that i can't stay up the entire night to pray... but God is great... He works wonders in our midst. GOD IS GOOD!!!!

we had wonderful time of worship and refreshing before the Lord... we heard from the Lord... there are even a few who "went to heaven"... many experienced the fire of God and were stirred up to be on FIRE FOR JESUS!!!!

It's time that the youth of Christ be united to PRAY FOR REVIVAL FOR OUR LAND, FOR OUR YOUTH!!!!!

on this beautiful night, God spoke to us... many were touched and ministered to by the Lord.
